Tra presente e futuro, facciamo il punto sul settore giovanile del Gabicce Gradara con il responsabile Enrico Mendo (foto) fresco di patentino a Coverciano (è anche allenatore Uefa A e preparatore atletico Figc) e che nella prossima stagione sarà anche il preparatore atletico della prima squadra, ruolo che ha già ricoperto nel finale di stagione affiancando mister Nicola Capobianco.
Enrico Mendo, 62 anni, veneto di origine, ha giocato per 15 anni in serie C (ha vestito anche la maglia del Ravenna) assaggiando la serie A (era nella rosa del Milan). Smesso i panni di calciatore a 33 anni, ha centrato una promozione dall’Eccellenza alla serie con D con lo Schio. Per 15 anni è stato l’assistente di Ezio Glerean a Cittadella, Palermo, Padova e Bassano del Grappa per poi fare il vice di Chicco Evani al San Marino Calcio. E’ qui che ha conosciuto il territorio romagnolo-marchigiano.
Enrico Mendo, soddisfatto del lavoro svolto nel settore giovanile?
“Sì, per più ragioni. Nell’Attività di Base abbiamo numeri importanti – 240 tesserati – con otto squadre dai Piccoli Amici agli Esordienti che partecipano ai campionati senza classifica. L’aspetto sociale, che si caratterizza con una serie di eventi con la festa finale con il trenino per le vie del paese, è per noi molto importante. Quanto all’Attività Agonistica, gli Allievi di Pasquale Iachini sono approdati alla fase regionale mentre i Giovanissimi di Alessandro Magi hanno vinto il titolo provinciale contro l’FC Academy. Tommaso Luzi classe 2009 è stato convocato nella Rappresenativa Regionale così come il 2007 Thomas Bergamini ed il 2006 Elia Morini. Lo stesso Elia Morini e Nicolò Semprini, altro valente 2006, sono al terzo anno nel giro della prima squadra, quanto a Bergamini è possibile che approdi nella Juniores Nazionale della Vigor Senigallia. Segnalo che la Juniores schiererà per la terza stagione più di un giocatore sotto età e alcuni under 15 hanno fatto esperienza nella Under 17 e alcuni under 17 nella Under 19. L’obbiettivo è portare i ragazzi più pronti nella categoria superiore”.
Quanti saranno i 2006 e i 2007 inseriti nella rosa della prima squadra?
“Nove, tutti giocatori con dei valori e su cui la società punta molto. Chi non troverà posto giocherà nella Juniores. Io sarò per loro una sorta di tutor, avrò cioè il compito di inserirli al meglio nel nuovo costesto che gran parte hanno già assaggiato e li seguirò più da vicino”.
Nella prossima stagione chi saranno i mister?
“La Under 19 è affidata ad Andrea Campanelli; la Under 17 ad Alessandro Magi; la Under 15 a Raimondo Porcelli e la Under 14 a Pasquale Iachini. E’ possibile che in virtù del buon numero di tesserati si riesca ad allestire una terza squadra di Giovanissimi”.
Passiamo alla prima squadra, al suo ruolo di preparatore atletico.
“La parte fisica sarà legata al cosidetto modello prestativo, cioè terrà conto dei parametri relativi alla sfera fisico-atletica e tecnico-tattica per quantificare perfettamente la prestazione dell’atleta in gara. Svolgeremo un lavoro ilpiù possibile individualizzato, soprattuto con la palla sul campo in modo che sia il più divertente possibile. A tal fine la società ha fatto un investimento per strumenti in grado di misurare il lavoro sulla forza individuale e la velocità”.
